Buying a transmitter is not where you begin if you wish to build a radio
station.
In fact, no reputable transmitter dealer will sell one to you if you
cannot demonstrate that you have a legal right to purchase or use it. The FCC takes a dim
view of "Radio Piracy" or operating a radio transmitter without a broadcast

Transmitter Order Policies:
Used Transmitters - Most likely the
transmitter needs to be re-tuned to your frequency. In most cases, an engineer will
re-crystal and retune to your frequency, perform an in house test, set power levels and
crate it for shipping. Used transmitters are certified to be in good operating order
unless you are accepting a transmitter which is AS-IS. All customers will pre-pay 100%
including shipping when purchasing a used transmitter. Some come with limited warranties,
ask about it when placing an order.
